While many aspire to innovate, few possess the unique blend of creativity, perseverance, and insight necessary to enact meaningful change. Yet standing firmly in this minority is ClearCorrect, whose endless drive for innovation has transformed clear aligner therapy and inspired clinicians everywhere to meet their orthodontic goals predictably and efficiently.

“When I first started using ClearCorrect aligners, it was primarily to resolve simple orthodontic issues,” said Mark Lowe, DDS, an orthodontist with offices in Fresno and Oakhurst, CA. “But with the company's more recent product launches, I have steadily increased my usage and expanded into treating more complex malocclusions.”

Driven by a passion for enhancing the doctor experience, ClearCorrect is constantly pursuing new product innovations—including the ClearCorrect Sync App and ClearPilot 8.0 treatment planning tool.

“The Sync App allows my assistants to upload records and photos in real time, update case statuses, and resolve issues more efficiently,” Dr. Lowe explained. “And with ClearPilot 8.0, I can treat more open and deep bites because I have the tools needed to analyze and plan accordingly.”

Getting in Sync

The Sync App empowers clinicians to manage their cases chairside or on the go via categorized lists and status icons for easy organization. Users can capture and edit patient photos with guided templates, and then instantly upload them to the ClearCorrect Doctor Portal.

“The Sync App improves communication between ClearCorrect and the dental office, which allows us to provide more frequent updates to our patients and improve their treatment experience," Dr. Lowe said.

User-Friendly Treatment Planning

ClearPilot 8.0 is intuitive for virtually any dentist to easily customize their treatment plans, said Dr. Lowe.

“The Bite Jump Simulation improves visualization of bite corrections in all 3 planes of space: sagittal (Class II and III corrections), vertical (open bite corrections), and transverse (crossbite and canted corrections). Also, the movement chart shows 6 kinds of movements—3 measured in millimeters and 3 in degrees—to an accuracy of 0.01 mm or degrees, respectively."

He added that other advanced editing tools within ClearPilot 8.0 allow him to adjust space for pontics during treatment, as well as set proper space requirements for restorative solutions such as implants or fixed bridges.

“ClearPilot 8.0 is at least 8 times more powerful than the earliest treatment planning tool, allowing us to improve our initial plans and decrease the need for additional aligners or revisions," Dr. Lowe concluded.
