There are few things more essential to daily operations in a dental practice than a well-performing autoclave. It’s a critical part of the workflow, yet with cleaning times of typical autoclaves reaching up to 60 minutes, a lengthy processing time can put a time-consuming strain on daily workflows and often plays a leading role in reduced productivity. Throw in a machine that’s difficult to operate, noisy, or even worse, one that’s prone to malfunctioning, and it can literally grind normal operations to a halt. But the high-performing Enbio S autoclave effectively eliminates those worries.

Designed in Switzerland, Enbio S is the fastest autoclave on the market, according to Enbio Group AG. An air removal (pre and postvacuum), medical Class B autoclave, it offers an efficient 15-minute cycle for wrapped instruments at 134º C—a speed that’s 4 times faster than typical autoclaves and includes drying time. It also features a 45minute cycle for wrapped instruments at 121º C, and should an unforeseen emergency occur, it has a rapid 7minute cycle for unwrapped instruments at 134º C. Enbio S also features an 11 × 7 × 1.3inch tray that fits a load of both small instruments and handpieces.

Challenged for workspace? The Enbio S has a small footprint of 22 × 9.8 × 6.3 inches and is 6 times smaller and 3 times lighter than typical Class B vacuum autoclaves. With a sleek, modern design, it’s available in white to match any practice décor.

Easy to Use and Virtually Silent

Simple to install and operate, the autoclave works with any standard electrical outlet and uses distilled water from an external tank. All process data is automatically recorded onto a USB disk and the Enbio S uses dedicated software for process data reading and printing.

Tired of the noise? Clinicians will find Enbio S operates at a nearly silent level, a feature that’s an ergonomic boost for both patients and staff. The autoclave can serve as a practice’s main sterilization equipment to take sterilization to the next level, or it can be used as an additional autoclave for special tasks or smaller items. It also is ideal when safe instruments are needed quickly, such as in the case of a backlog of patients, when tools are “locked” in other autoclaves during processing, or if tools are accidentally dropped or contaminated during treatment.

Drawing from its 30 plus years of biotechnology and industrial hydroponics experience, Enbio has distributed more than 38,000 autoclaves worldwide over the course of 6 years—all proudly made in Europe.
