"Ecosite Elements has stability. You can stack it, you can get it into little crevices, and you don’t need to do the sandwich technique,” he said. “The restorations come out beautifully. You can use it anywhere with its shades, and it polishes really nicely.”

Ecosite Elements is a universal, nanohybrid composite with outstanding handling and a compact, modular shade system. “This particular composite system can be used for anything,” Dr. Pressman said. “It can be used for anterior or posterior cases, and for any Class I, II, III, IV, or V. I've even used it on deciduous teeth.”
Leveraging patented NC1 (non-clustering) technology, Ecosite Elements ensures even distribution of nanoparticles within the resin matrix, contributing to its easy handling characteristics, high polishability, and esthetic results. Its Push-and-Flow effect allows the initially firm material to soften with the application of shearing forces during sculpting.
“Sculpting with Ecosite Elements is fabulous,” Dr. Pressman confirmed. “You can push it around in such a way that it flows into nooks and crannies but still maintains the carved anatomy until it is cured.”
Effortless, Natural Shade Matching
The intelligent shade system uses an intuitive color scheme with 3 modules—Pure, Layer, and Highlight—to create practical, effi cient, and esthetic restorations. The Pure module is based on VITA shades A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B1, and BL1, helping dentists to achieve natural-looking restorations. Combined with the Layer shades when using a layering technique, the system can match any shade. The Highlight shades help mimic any natural discoloration.
“Even in anterior cases, the restoration looks incredibly real,” Dr. Pressman said. “The base VITA shade matches the opacity or translucency of the tooth next to it, and then you can cover that with the next shade module. If you are trying to match a veneer on tooth No. 8 with tooth No. 9 and there is some imperfection on the enamel, you can't tell the difference.”
