“Our goal has always been to break down barriers for patients, and part of that has been to offer a wide range of denture options,” said Eric D. Kukucka, DD, Vice President of Clinical Removable Prosthetics & Design Technologies. “We’ve always had a variety of options to meet the needs of each patient, but we asked ourselves, ‘Are we fully meeting the needs of patients who want more from their denture?’ The modern patient is looking for a solution that is more esthetic, more functional, with a better warranty—that was the basis of the Signature Elite denture.”
The Signature Elite denture integrates Ivoclar’s highly esthetic SR Vivodent S DCL and SR Orthotyp S DCL anterior and posterior tooth lines with the premium heat-injected IvoBase system. As an added benefit, an antibacterial coating further supports patients' oral health.
Signature Elite dentures come with a 7-year warranty—as well as the flexibility to be upgraded to implants at any time through a seamless retrofit.
Kukucka emphasized that the combination of the IvoBase denture base and S DCL tooth lines represents a major step forward in the delivery of denture care. “We really found that the esthetic characteristics and differentiation of this tooth line was far superior to most on the market, and I want to be clear—there are a lot of great denture teeth on the market,” Kukucka said.
Elevating Denture Care
To support the rollout of Signature Elite dentures and ensure the offering met the high standards of both patients and providers, Aspen Dental teams conducted a certification program and training of more than 1,300 lab technicians nationwide, as well as clinical training for doctors across all offices. The investment was met with pride and excitement across the board.
