Bulk fill technology answers the two challenges
of direct restorations: adaptation and efficiency

The introduction of SDR technology in a flowable, bulk fill composite made it easy and convenient to achieve gap-free adaptation. The technology minimized the buildup of stress, ensuring excellent adaptation even in 4-mm bulk placement. A staple in Class I, III, and V restorations, post-endodontic treatment, primary posterior dentition, pit-and-fissure sealing, and core buildup, SDR flow+ has enabled dentists such as Dr. Bookman to enjoy faster restorations, ideal marginal integrity, and impressive clinical durability

I used to be loyal to another manufacturer for restorative materials, but there were one or two products that I wasn’t crazy about—and when they introduced a new one that completely failed on me, I decided it was time to try something new. As I began to sample some of Dentsply Sirona's products, I just liked the way they worked. I thought the color matching and handling were great, and I was getting a better polish than ever before. That marked the beginning of a complete transformation to using Dentsply Sirona for almost everything in my practice.

In particular, the Class II solution represented a chance to streamline a procedure and use materials that I knew would be compatible with each other. I appreciated the matrix system and universal adhesive, but one key product that has made my restorations easier over the years is the bulk fill flowable, SDR flow+.

Eliminating Voids

The way that this material is self-leveling made all the difference in the world to me. I use it in all of my posterior Class II restorations, and it is so much easier to place than anything else I’ve used. Because of the flowability of the material, I don’t have to do the packing and manipulating I used to do, and I know that this material will seal all the margins. There are no voids between the composite and the preparation floor, which helps to eliminate potential sensitivity issues. It flows in, adapts, and seals.

Considering how many posterior Class II restorations we perform each year, having a system that is easy and efficient has been a time-saver in my practice, and has helped ensure the long-term success of my restorations.
