With an ideal combination of strength, biocompatibility, and esthetics, zirconia has become a premier material for crafting dental restorations. A Solution for Every Surface
In addition to cups and points made for zirconia polishing, the NeoShine line also includes polishers designed specifically for composite and metal surfaces, as well as flexible discs for composite, metal, and porcelain, each color-coded for easy identification. The pink zirconia polishers have become Dr. Dantini’s “go-to for occlusal finishing for CEREC restorations,” although he noted that they “work equally well on everything from composite to enamel.” He has found that he achieves the best results when occlusal surfaces are prefinished using an egg-shaped fine diamond, such as a Microcopy’s NeoDiamond, before finishing with NeoShine 2-step zirconia polishers.
