Oral Care Company Pivots to Fulfill Hand-Sanitizer Need

EverPure Hand SanitizerAs the global need for hand sanitizer became clear in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Inglewood, CA-based EverBrands came to the rescue. The company—which is known for its aligner cleaner, EverSmile White Foam—has a patented, FDA-registered hydrogen peroxide-based formula for its products and is experienced with bacteria-killing products designed to be safe for oral use.

Realizing its facilities were ideal for hand sanitizer production, the company sprang into action to make the necessary changes to serve the community in a time of emergency. “We decided to make hand sanitizer as a result of the need we saw and we knew that we were flexible enough to help supply the shortage,” said Camilo Triana, CSO at EverBrands.

EverBrands had to use a variety of packaging materials—taking whatever was available—but ensured that the sanitizer, H& by EverPure, was of the highest quality and produced to rigorous FDA and WHO standards. Within days, the company was fulfilling bulk order requests from healthcare organizations and other companies seeking the antiseptic for their employees.

We’re All In This Together

The company, which has donated its new product to Los Angeles-area fire stations, police stations, hospitals, transplant centers, and government offices, says it may experience a stock outage from time to time, but it is sourcing materials as quickly as possible while trying to be conscientious of the health of its hard-working staff.

“Currently, we’re receiving bulk order requests from healthcare companies as well as companies that are still operating and want hand sanitizer for their employees,” Triana shared.

The new product will continue to be available for sale. “We plan to make this another arm of our EverBrands family for the long haul.”
