Bio-LCB, Light Cured Base and Liner, was developed as a protective base/liner under composites, amalgams, cements, and other base materials. It can be used as a replacement for calcium hydroxide, glass ionomer, RMGI, IRM/ZOE, and other restorative materials. Bio-LCB creates an insulator/barrier to protect against sensitivity. Unlike other base/liners, Bio-LCB is composed of a proprietary UDMA-based formulation, is super strong, self adhesive, bonds to dentin, and promotes dentin remineralization.
