Sleek, 5th-generation TRIOS 5 is the smallest and lightest TRIOS scanner to date, and it’s designed for smoother, faster, and effortless scanning
From Routine to Complex Cases
“We are using digital impressions for our larger cases as well as routine, day-to-day restorative treatments,” Dr. Moghadam shared. “When we first purchased an intraoral scanner, we scanned for traditional crown and bridge, but we’ve really expanded over the years. Now, besides dentures, we use digital impressions for designing and printing surgical guides, night guards, models, and temporaries, and we rely on them for many of our implant restorations as well. We send the impressions to our lab but we also do almost all of our own crowns in-house.”
TRIOS 5 features an all-new ScanAssist engine that uses intelligent-alignment technology to ensure precise scanning and sets a new standard for hygienic patient protection, with virtually no openings or crevices and ultrathin, snug, and nearly invisible sleeves designed for single patient use.
“My patients think the scanner is unbelievable and they really appreciate it. Digital impressions are faster, more accurate, and everybody appreciates having digital records on file and not having the gooey impressions. Even for labs, it’s as if they have the patient right in front of them!”
