MAXIMA ADVANCED ULTRASONIC CLEANER MA210
Henry Schein designed the Maxima Advanced Ultrasonic Cleaner MA210 for quick and thorough instrument cleaning. For 1 layer of loose instruments or a single cassette, the unit runs for about 5 minutes; for 2 layers, the average cleaning time is 10 minutes.
“My office loves this unit,” said April Curtis, RDH. “We liked the fast cleaning, and the unit looks nice. I think this is an excellent unit for a multidoctor and/or hygiene practice.” Melanie Davis, RDH, who works in a Utah practice, commented on the unit’s ability to remove particularly tough material from instruments. “I ran it through a 5-minute cycle, and when I came back, the debris/blood had been removed,” she said. “It’s magical!”
Henry Schein also considered post-use in its design of the Maxima Advanced Ultrasonic Cleaner MA210. By positioning the draining valve on the side of the unit, it’s especially easy to drain and then clean. “It’s easy to use, and once the fluid drains out, it is easy to wipe clean,” said Lydia Pope.
MAXIMA TURBO CLASS B STERILIZER
Ease of use and fast cycle times are 2 features key to sterilization efficiency. The Maxima Turbo Class B Sterilizer offers both and then some. Sterilization rooms require compact equipment. This sterilizer is both portable and stackable, making it ideal for small spaces. In addition, its high-resolution digital display is easy to read, and the emergency mode allows for 7-minute sterilization of unwrapped instruments for immediate use.
Dr. Susie Worm, who has a practice in Lincoln, NE, found the Turbo Class B Sterilizer’s speed especially impressive. “I feel like it’s much quicker than what I’ve used before,” she said. “I also like that it shows on the face of it where it is in the running cycle.”
MAXIMA PRO 2AR
Henry Schein understands the concerns of patients and practice teams when it comes to infection prevention. Handpieces, unfortunately, serve as daily generators of aerosols that can spread contamination throughout an operatory. To address that issue, Henry Schein designed the Maxima Pro 2AR high-speed, air-driven handpiece to reduce airborne particle emissions and to prevent the suck-back of fluid and particles into the patient’s mouth. It does all this without sacrificing power and performance.
Dr. Robin Henderson has found that most smaller handpieces have less power and torque than their larger counterparts. However, that wasn’t true with the Maxima PRO 2AR. “Although it is smaller than my pedo handpiece, it had more power and torque than my other handpieces.” She also noted that it allowed her to work faster and more efficiently and the small size gave her “much improved access to areas that would ordinarily slow me down.”
Take a Bow

To ensure you receive rave reviews and a standing ovation, invest in instruments and equipment that let your excellent care and top-notch team shine.
