Does that make sense?” It’s a question we often pose to patients while doing our best to explain complex dental issues, varying treatment options, or the benefits of proper home care. It’s also a question that Flow Dental tackles with its launch of Endo Sensibles, a unique sensor holder designed to simplify the task of capturing digital images during endo treatment.

A Window to Easier Imaging

While progress x-rays often involve files that need to remain in the canal, most standard sensor positioners are ill-equipped to accommodate protruding instruments. Endo Sensibles features a bite block with an open window design that allows clinicians to conveniently work around instruments in the canals during the imaging process. Endo Sensibles also has an adjustable ratcheting gripper, which enables it to hold any size sensor firmly in place.

“Endo Sensibles created a reproducible way for us to take endo radiographs,” said Rupesh Singla, DDS, after using the unique sensor positioner in his Duncanville, TX, practice. He also appreciated its lightweight design, which helps increase patient comfort during progress x-rays.

Available in color-coded sizes, Endo Sensibles allows users to adjust the sensor relative to the bite block of the positioner, while the bite area provides ample space to accommodate a mouth prop or cotton roll.

“Product placement was easy, and the x-ray came out great,” shared Dr. Robert Johnson.

Convenience Is Key

Flow Dental is constantly simplifying the imaging procedure, and the new Safe ‘n’ Sure Deluxe in a patented wall dispenser is no exception. Mounted on a plate processor or wall, it easily dispenses one size 2 Safe ‘n’ Sure Deluxe PSP envelope at a time so that users can bag their plates as they come out of the plate reader.
